Floodplains

It is now commonplace for floodplain sections to be produced at client specified locations. Utilising our extensive GPS capability we our able to carry out this work in real time. This real-time approach allows us to precisely locate where sections fall and instantly report any discrepancies with the original mapping.

Photogrammetric surveyand data gathered using the Lidar methods can all be supplemented or corroborated using high precision GPS / Total station combination. Data is captured and processed by professional surveyors with a wealth of experience in this field.

All surveyors involved in this work have attended the course on “Surveying for Modellers” developed and presented by JBA Consulting. This collaborative approach has been commended by the Environment Agency. Richard Maltby (Director) – Manages both Warwick and Yorkshire Offices and oversees all hydrographic work. He maintains our high standards of survey and delivery across this discipline.
